io.net has partnered with OpenLedger to enable OpenLedger to access io.net’s compute layer to refine its AI models.

GPU DePIN io.net has announced its partnership with OpenLedger, the data blockchain for AI specializing in high-quality verifiable data.

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, Io.net said the collaboration will enable OpenLedger to access io.net’s compute layer to refine its AI models.

By accessing io.net’s distributed GPU network, OpenLedger will gain the compute it requires to accelerate the development of its AI models. Developed using OpenLedger's datasets, this will empower developers to build smarter, more efficient AI-based dapps.

Furthermore, accessing io.net’s GPU infrastructure will also support inference and hosting of the AI models, ensuring they are optimized for performance and scalability. This will enhance OpenLedger’s reputation as a leading provider of reliable datasets that are fueling a wave of innovation at the intersection of blockchain and AI.

While commenting on the partnership, the OpenLedger team said,

“Our collaboration with io.net unlocks the full potential of our high-quality datanets, using the contributed data to create specialized AI models. By leveraging io.net’s GPU infrastructure, our protocol users will be able to fine-tune AI models more efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. This brings us closer to our vision of creating a decentralized, transparent AI ecosystem that enables collaboration through data sharing and the development of trustworthy, explainable models.”

Tausif Ahmad, VP of BD of io.net, added that,

“We’re excited to be partnering with OpenLedger, whose data blockchain for AI provides Web3 builders with decentralized datasets they can trust. With io.net providing the GPU compute, OpenLedger now has an infra provider it can rely on to scale its AI models built on top of them and to unlock new use cases that will reinforce its status as an innovative provider of decentralized AI models.”

This partnership provides OpenLedger with a cost-effective and scalable compute solution, enabling it to expand its services without being constrained by the high costs and limitations of centralized cloud providers.

io.net’s decentralized GPU infrastructure enables OpenLedger to scale up its operations, process larger datasets, and develop AI models with unprecedented efficiency, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in decentralized AI innovation.

Furthermore, io.net’s GPU resources will enable OpenLedger to unlock new use cases for AI models across diverse applications built using its high-quality datanets and contributed data. By ensuring these AI models are fine-tuned for scalability and reliability, OpenLedger can further bolster its track record as a pioneer in creating a decentralized ecosystem for trustworthy, accessible AI.

io.net is a decentralized distributed compute network that enables ML engineers to deploy a GPU cluster of any scale within seconds at a fraction of the cost of centralized cloud providers. io.net sources compute resources from multiple locations and deploy them into a single cluster at massive scale. io.net has successfully supported training, fine-tuning, and inference for a wide range of ML models.

Meanwhile, OpenLedger is a data blockchain for AI, focused on building specialized AI models that agents and AI apps can access. All datasets are publicly accessible, fostering transparency and enabling a community-driven environment.
