io.net and ParallelAI have partnered to boost decentralized compute for Generate AI by integrating io.net’s decentralized GPU compute into ParallelAI’s platform.

GPU DePIN io.net has announced its strategic partnership with ParallelAI, the leading provider of parallel processing optimization solutions for AI developers.

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, io.net said this partnership will see its decentralized GPU compute deeply integrated into ParallelAI’s platform.

Thanks to this collaboration with io.net, ParallelAI will significantly expand upon the GPU compute it currently accesses through IO Cloud in the form of A100s. This will enable ParallelAI to scale its platform to provide AI developers with the compute they require for tasks such as LLM training, running inference on trained models, and distributed deep learning.

Per the terms of the partnership, the two entities will collaborate on research and development. They will combine their resources and expertise to push the technical frontiers of GPU cloud computing and develop solutions that set new benchmarks for performance and efficiency.

io.net explained that ParallelAI accelerates AI innovation by allowing developers to write high-level code before entrusting ParallelAI to oversee the parallel computing across multiple GPUs and CPUs. This can reduce computational time by up to 20x and significantly reduce costs.

ParallelAI can scale its business without experiencing bottlenecks or service disruption by accessing decentralized GPU clusters on demand through IO Cloud. As a result, ParallelAI clients can enjoy the certainty of access and the ability to access compute to process intensive AI workloads efficiently. IO Cloud provides computing power for AI use cases with savings of up to 90% compared to traditional cloud services.

The collaboration will also enable ParallelAI to grow its share of the AI/ML developer market while minimizing hardware investment and infrastructure management. Finally, it will drive innovation within the decentralized AI space by developing joint technologies between io.net and ParallelAI that can potentially power the next wave of transformative AI solutions.

io.net is a decentralized distributed compute network that enables ML engineers to deploy a GPU cluster of any scale within seconds at a fraction of the cost of centralized cloud providers. io.net sources compute resources from multiple locations and deploy them into a single cluster at a massive scale. io.net has successfully supported training, fine-tuning, and inference for a wide range of ML models.

Meanwhile, ParallelAI is an advanced AI language platform to improve the use of compute resources. Made for businesses facing performance issues, ParallelAI uses cutting-edge parallel processing techniques to increase efficiency, helping organizations get more done while reducing the need for large infrastructures.
