On Thursday, the IOTA Foundation announced via a blog post that its Rebased test network has welcomed nine new validators.

On Thursday, the IOTA Foundation announced via a blog post that its Rebased test network has welcomed nine new validators. The nine new validators include MatrixedLink, Crouton Digital, Hacken, Klever.io, Nakama, Stakeme, Owlstake, TokensLab.Network, and IOTAMoonShots. 

IOTA is a permissionless distributed ledger "for a new economy." IOTA aims to support the growth of a machine economy by enabling "fee-less machine-to-machine payments," offering greater scalability than blockchain networks. IOTA is trading at $0.3046, down 7.5% in the last 24 hours.
