Irys Joins the IoTeX 2.0 as the Data Provenance Layer

The IoTeX team announced via X on Monday that Irys has joined the IoTeX 2.0 Modular DePIN Infrastructure as the data provenance layer. Irys is set to provide robust data integrity for all DePIN builders.

Data provenance is essential for ensuring the integrity and trustworthiness of DePIN data. Since DePIN applications deal with financial incentives, verifying the origin, history, and authenticity of data is paramount. IoTex added that Irys’s cost-transparency and infinite scalability make it the premier choice for DePIN data management.

IoTeX's mission is to be a privacy-centric blockchain managing the entire information lifecycle of an Internet of Things (IoT) network, including data collection, transport, storage, and utilization. IOTX is up by 2% today and is currently trading at $0.03385.
