At the time, the Kraken NFT marketplace said it would support over 70 NFT collections on the Ethereum and Solana blockchains.
However, the NFT marketplace has increased its focus and now supports over 250 non-fungible tokens (NFTs) across the Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon blockchains.
The Kraken NFT marketplace also revealed that it would support blue-chip projects like CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club in addition to the more affordable NFT collections.
Furthermore, the NFT marketplace will not charge gas fees to customers to buy and sell NFTs on the marketplace. However, customers will pay gas fees when they transfer the NFTs and other cryptoassets from the Kraken platform.
The cryptocurrency exchange said users can pay in fiat or cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, the NFTs on the platform will have built-in rarity rankings. At the moment, the Kraken NFT marketplace supports MetaMask and Solana's Phantom wallet and the team is working to add support for WalletConnect soon.
