LayerZero is Live on Rootstock

On Friday, the LayerZero team announced via X that LayerZero is now live on Rootstock, Bitcoin’s DeFi layer. Rootstock, the Bitcoin DeFi hub, is now connected to over 100 chains via LayerZero.

With the launch of LayerZero, Rootstock has integrated the OFT Standard for $RIF and $rBTC, making asset transfers across chains simple.

Users can now leverage Stargate Finance to bridge assets, including USDT, USDC, and ETH, into Rootstock from the biggest chains in the world, including Ethereum, Base, BNBCHAIN, and Arbitrum.

LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $2.856, down 2.5% in the last 24 hours.
