The Sei team announced via X on Tuesday that LayerZero, an omnichain interoperability protocol, has launched on the Sei V2, an upgrade to the Sei blockchain that offers parallelized execution and EVM compatibility.

The integration means that developers on other LayerZero-supported networks can now seamlessly deploy their applications on Sei V2.

Sei is a high-speed Layer 1 blockchain tailored for the digital asset boom, from NFTs to DeFi. The blockchain intends to unlock a brand-new design space for consumer-facing applications. Its native coin, SEI is down by 3% in the last 24 hours and is now trading at $0.4563 per coin.
