On Tuesday, the LayerZero team announced via X that it has partnered with Sonic Labs, previously known as the Fantom Foundation.

On Tuesday, the LayerZero team announced via X that it has partnered with Sonic Labs, previously known as the Fantom Foundation. With this partnership, applications and tokens from the 90+ chains connected by LayerZero can expand to Sonic in preparation for its public launch this month.

LayerZero is an interoperability protocol designed to facilitate seamless communication between different blockchains. It aims to create a unified, interconnected blockchain ecosystem where assets and data can move freely across various networks. ZRO trades at $5.920, down 8.5% in the last 24 hours. 

Fantom is building a programmable platform on a directed acyclic-graph-based distributed ledger. Its FTM coin is down 14% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at $1.1254.
