HBAR Foundation, the development team behind the Hedera blockchain, announced via a blog post on Monday that Legends of the Past (LOP), the free-to-play mobile game created by ex-AAA gaming studio figures, will be launching on the Hedera blockchain.
Built by ex-Ubisoft, Supercell, and Tap4Fun employees, the mobile game will leverage the Hedera Token Service (HTS) for both in-game item tokenization and to create the $LOP token used to help drive parts of the in-game economy.
Hedera Hashgraph is a distributed public ledger infrastructure. According to the team, it offers significant improvements over existing blockchains in five areas: performance, security, governance, stability, and regulatory compliance. HBAR is trading at $0.0469 at press time, down by 1% over the last 24 hours.
