The Wormhole team announced via X on Monday that Lido has voted to include the NTT open token standard for transfers of $wstETH to BNBChain.

The Wormhole team announced via X on Monday that Lido has voted to include the NTT open token standard for transfers of $wstETH to BNBChain. Once live, users can transfer wstETH to the BNBChain using Wormhole’s Portal Bridge.

Venus Protocol, Pancakeswap, Beefy Finance, and other major protocols will be supporting this canonical wstETH asset from the first day. NTT is powering natively multichain tokens for industry-leading projects like Lido, JitoSOL, ether.fi, Puffer Finance, Stakewise, and Wormhole’s W token.

Wormhole is a decentralized bridge between blockchains that enables the transfer of assets and data across different blockchain networks. It aims to facilitate interoperability and expand the capabilities of blockchain technology. W is trading at $0.2217, up 1% in the last 24 hours. 

Lido is a secure liquid staking solution for proof-of-stake (PoS) cryptocurrencies that supports Ethereum 2.0 (The Merge) staking and a growing ecosystem of other Layer 1 PoS blockchains. Its native LDO token is up 1% in the last 24 hours and is trading at $1.067 per coin.
