MATIC rallies as Polygon’s Web3 Hackathon in India comes to a close

Polygon’s BUILDIT Web3 hackathon in India comes to a close, with MATIC rallying by more than 11% in the past 24 hours.

Polygon announced that it has concluded the BUILDIT Web3 hackathon it organized in India. The developers said the responses it received from the event were overwhelming and the closing awards ceremony will take place tomorrow, December 22.

During the event, the Polygon team announced that MG Motors became the first auto brand in India to launch its own collection of NFTs on the NGAGE NFT platform built on the Polygon blockchain.

MATIC, the native coin of the Polygon blockchain, is up by more than 11% so far today as the broader market slowly recovers.
