Chainlink announced via X on Thursday that Mountain Protocol has integrated Chainlink CCIP across the Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, Optimism, and Polygon POS ecosystems. Mountain Protocol’s integration of the CCIP’s token-transfer capabilities enables seamless cross-chain transfers of USDM.

Mountain chose Chainlink CCIP as its preferred interoperability solution for native bridging because it is the industry-standard protocol that facilitates the secure transfer of tokens and data across different blockchains. CCIP simplifies cross-chain operations by eliminating the need for custom-built integrations.

The protocol also leverages Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network, ensuring that cross-chain transactions are reliable and consistent.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $11.26 at press time.
