On Thursday, Aptos Labs announced via a blog post that native USDC, issued by Circle, and Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) will be coming soon to the Aptos network.

Once the integration is complete, users can seamlessly transfer USDC between Aptos and eight major blockchains–including Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, and Solana–thanks to CCTP.

As part of the integration, Stripe’s payment services will also launch on Aptos to enhance DeFi use cases on the network, boost interoperability Web3-wide, and streamline global payment solutions for merchants. This will allow users to seamlessly convert fiat currencies into USDC, while businesses can leverage stablecoins using Aptos-native USDC infrastructure.

Aptos is a scalable layer-1 blockchain based on the Move programming language. APT is the project's native token. APT is up 4%, trading at $12.05 per coin.
