On Monday, the Near Protocol announced via X that it has integrated with Infinex, a leading Web3 UX platform. Inifnex has integrated NEAR’s Chain Signatures tech, along with NEAR intents, to enable deposits and trading of non-smart contracts and exotic assets on their platform.

Infinex aims to compete with centralized exchanges and achieve feature parity to deliver the same UX to users and onboard the next billion users to DeFi. With NEAR Chain Signatures, users can interact with non-smart contract chains like Bitcoin and Ripple within Infinex, bringing the platform closer to feature parity with centralized exchanges.

NEAR Protocol is a decentralized application platform designed to make apps similarly usable to those on today’s web. The network runs on a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Nightshade, which aims to provide dynamic scalability and stabilize fees. NEAR is trading at $5.472, up 5% in the last 24 hours.
