NEAR Protocol Partners with Hyperbolic to Enhance User-owned AI

The Near Protocol announced via X on Monday that it has partnered with Hyperbolic to push the development of user-owned AI forward. Hyperbolic is building an open-access AI cloud that enables an open ecosystem and economy.

By integrating Hyperbolic’s AI infrastructure, NEAR Protocol AI will scale its AI Hub and R&D efforts like AI Developer. NEAR users can leverage Hyperbolic’s global GPU network to power inference tasks at scale. This ensures faster, reliable AI model performance, all while moving towards a decentralized future where AI is owned by its users. This partnership lets developers run AI tasks with the power of decentralized infrastructure, unlocking greater scalability and reliability.

NEAR Protocol is a decentralized application platform designed to make apps similarly usable to those on today’s web. The network runs on a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism called Nightshade, which aims to provide dynamic scalability and stabilize fees. NEAR is trading at $4.072, up by 1.6% in the last 24 hours.
