NEAR Tops $5 After a 7% Rally

NEAR, the native coin of the Near blockchain, is the best performer amongst the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market cap. It is up 7% in the last 24 hours, outperforming the broader cryptocurrency market.

At press time, NEAR is trading at $5.25 and could rally higher as the bulls remain in control of the market. NEAR’s rally can be attributed to its integration with Uphold.

While NEAR is rallying, Bitcoin is currently underperforming. BTC is down less than 1% in the last 24 hours and trades below $63,500 per coin. Analysts believe that Bitcoin will need to break above the $65,200 resistance level for the market to see a positive reaction this week.

Failure to break past the $65,200 resistance level could see BTC retest the support level just above $61k in the coming days.

BNB, Binance’s native coin, is the best performer amongst the top 10 cryptocurrencies after adding 2% to its value. The positive performance allowed BNB to cross the $600 mark, up 12% in the last seven days.

The total cryptocurrency market cap increased by $100 million over the last 24 hours to now stand at $2.23 trillion.
