Leading web3 venture fund Node Capital, part of Node Group, announced that it has launched a new liquid fund focusing on liquid tokens and onchain strategies.
In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, Node Group said this latest development comes after its validator arm, Node Monster, has crossed the $1B benchmark in locked assets for staking and restaking protocols. The $1B AUM spans more than 20 blockchain networks and makes Node Monster one of the largest Ethereum validators.
The team added that the Liquid Fund will complement Node Capital’s existing investments throughout the web3 landscape. Its partners are managing approximately $50M in assets across various onchain sectors. Focusing on a mixture of tokens and yield-generating strategies, its investments to date include Ether.fi, Fhenix, Squid, and IKA.
While commenting on this launch, Node Capital Founding Partner Amos Meiri said,
“The new fund allows us to broaden our remit and look for opportunities that extend beyond staking to include the full spectrum of web3 verticals. With the ability to draw upon the expertise and experience of our sister companies, Node Capital can provide significant value-add to the projects it incubates. This will enable them to realize their full potential while advancing web3 innovation for the benefit of all stakeholders.”
Node Group added that it also provides other Web3 services via Node Security. The blockchain security firm is dedicated to securing decentralized applications, smart contracts, and web3 infrastructure. It also provides top-tier security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response services to ensure the integrity and resilience of web3 projects.
Furthermore, Node Link supports Node Group partners, including Node Capital portfolio companies, to drive growth within blockchain ecosystems. Its focus is on empowering communities and founders to drive long-term success through targeted strategies.
According to Node Group, Node Link services include organic and strategic community growth initiatives, empowerment of Founders through strategic social guidance, and ambassador sourcing to enhance engagement.
