Oasis Foundation Awards Grant to Diode to Bring Zero-Trust Networking to Sapphire

On Friday, the Oasis Protocol announced via a blog post that it has awarded a grant to Diode to integrate confidential smart contracts on Sapphire into its communications stack.

With this grant, Diode will enhance its Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) model by leveraging Sapphire to encrypt key onchain logic used in device onboarding and access permissions. This integration protects sensitive metadata and prevents inference attacks, especially during the critical “perimeter bootstrapping” phase, where trust relationships are formed. The result is a more secure, censorship-resistant foundation for dApps and communications protocols.

Oasis Network is a decentralized blockchain network built by Oasis Labs that enables secure and private data-sharing and control. ROSE, the native token of the Oasis Network, is down 5.2% in the last 24 hours and currently trades at $0.02374.
