On Tuesday, Chainlink announced via X that OpenUSDT, an interoperable version of the world’s largest stablecoin $USDT created for the OP Superchain ecosystem, has adopted Chainlink CCIP for cross-chain transfers.

Backed 1:1 with native USDT locked on Celo, OpenUSDT leverages Chainlink CCIP and Hyperlane for cross-chain transferability, creating open and unified liquidity for the world’s largest stablecoin within the Superchain.

OpenUSDT uses Chainlink CCIP for cross-chain transfers, enabling the permissionless transfer of value without being subject to vendor lock-in.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof data inputs and outputs for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up 8.5% over the past 24 hours, trading at $15.02.
