Optimism Joins Chainlink Scale

On Wednesday, the Chainlink team announced via X that OP Mainnet has officially joined Chainlink Scale, alongside Optimism superchain networks Base and Soneium.

On Wednesday, the Chainlink team announced via X that OP Mainnet has officially joined Chainlink Scale, alongside Optimism superchain networks Base and Soneium. Furthermore, Chainlink Data Streams, Chainlink Functions, and Chainlink VRF are live on Optimism's OP Mainnet.

Joining Scale provides OP Mainnet developers with enhanced access to Chainlink's high-quality, low-cost oracle services by enabling Optimism to cover operating costs for a period of time.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof data inputs and outputs for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 1% over the past 24 hours, trading at $17.98 at press time.

Optimism’s main utility is to batch transactions on the Optimism network. Optimism allows users to enjoy lower gas fees on their transactions executed on the Optimism network through optimistic roll-up technology. OP is trading at $2.405, up 4% in the last 24 hours.
