Ostium Integrates Chainlink Data Streams on Arbitrum to Power Low-Latency Crypto Feeds

Chainlink announced via X on Monday that Ostium has integrated Chainlink Data Streams on Arbitrum. The Ostium Protocol is an open-sourced, decentralized exchange on Ethereum Layer 2 Arbitrum, enabling transparent and non-custodial trading on both digital and Real World Assets.

The initial integration involves using the BTC/USD and ETH/USD Chainlink Data Streams. Chainlink Data Streams provide sub-second data delivery using battle-tested oracle infrastructure, enabling a highly performant user experience without compromising on DeFi values such as decentralization and transparency.

Furthermore, with Data Streams, protocols receive access to a growing array of data beyond price, including granular market liquidity and volatility data. Finally, Chainlink Data Streams make use of conflict of interest-free data sources and a commit and reveal architecture to help ensure traders and liquidity sources are protected against malicious price manipulation and information arbitrage.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up by 12% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $10.01 at press time.
