Permissionless Bridging is Now Live on Uniswap

On Wednesday, the Uniswap team announced via a blog post that its users can now bridge across nine networks directly from the Uniswap Interface and Uniswap Wallet. Permissionless bridging powered by Across Protocol provides users with fast, secure cross-chain transactions.

Across is a permissionless bridge that operates through a decentralized network of liquidity pools and relayers. This system enables fast, secure bridging that settles in seconds, not minutes.

At launch, bridging will be available for Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, OP Mainnet, Zora, Blast, World Chain, and ZKsync. Only native assets (e.g., ETH on Ethereum or ARB on Arbitrum) and stablecoins will be supported for bridging.

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange protocol built on Ethereum. To be more precise, it is an automated liquidity protocol. No order book or centralized party is required to make trades. UNI, the native token of Uniswap, is currently trading at $7.997, up 2% in the last 24 hours.
