The ZKSync team announced via X on Friday that PlayFi, a Web3 gaming platform, has joined the ZKSync Elastic Chain. PlayFi turns content into real-time data using powerful AI Agents, including gaming, live streaming, sports, and entertainment.

By joining ZKSync’s Elastic Chain, PlayFi will be able to sponsor transaction fees to help incentivize and grow their protocol, ensuring that users across the connected ecosystem can access PlayFi dapps with a world-class user experience.

Building on the ZK Stack offers verifiability, interoperability, secure settlement, and impressive throughput. On ZK Stack, PlayFi gains a significant edge with high throughput (180 TPS, growing with ZKPorter in Volition mode), low transaction costs, native interoperability with other ZK chains, and near-instant settlement times to Ethereum for quick L1 bridging, the team added.

ZKsync is a Layer-2 scaling solution that makes transactions on Ethereum cheaper and faster by utilizing zero-knowledge rollups (zk-rollups) and zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs). ZK is up by 5% and is currently trading at $0.1678.
