According to a PwC report, Tezos blockchain has recorded a 70% increase in energy efficiency in 2021. With cryptocurrency networks under the spotlight with regard to energy consumption, Tezos is offering a greener solution to investors. 

The PwC report reflects significant improvements in energy efficiency, despite a rise in network activity. The liquid proof-of-stake network completed 50 million transactions while the whole network energy consumption was the equivalent of just 17 world citizens.
