Securitize Launches BlackRock’s BUIDL on Solana

On Tuesday, the Solana team announced via X that Blackrock’s BUIDL fund is launching on Solana. The BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) tokenized by Securitize brings institutional-grade yield to Solana’s network.

Securitize stated that Solana’s high throughput, low costs, and scalability make it an ideal blockchain to support institutional-grade RWAs. By expanding to Solana, BUIDL is now more accessible to a broader range of investors and applications.

Solana is an integrated, open-source blockchain that synchronizes global information at the speed of light. The network is focused on fast transactions and high throughput to encourage mass consumer adoption of blockchain technology. SOL is up 2% in the last 24 hours and trades at $141.94.
