Chainlink announced via X on Thursday that it has partnered with Shiba Inu to grow the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Thanks to this partnership, Shibarium has integrated the Chainlink standard for blockchain interoperability as its canonical cross-chain infrastructure.

Shiba Inu ecosystem assets SHIB), BONE, and LEASH have also adopted the Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard to make Shiba Inu assets available across 12 blockchains.

Shiba Inu has also adopted the Chainlink standard for low-latency market data. Chainlink Data Streams supply premium high-frequency data using proven Chainlink infrastructure. It delivers unmatched functionality with advanced features such as liquidity-weighted bid-ask spreads and sub-second execution speed without compromising on transparency and decentralization.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof data inputs and outputs for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 6% over the past 24 hours, trading at $23.09 at press time.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) is a dog-themed meme cryptocurrency named after a Japanese dog breed. It was created in 2020 by an anonymous developer named Ryoshi, who designed SHIB to be an alternative to Dogecoin (DOGE) on the Ethereum blockchain. SHIB is down 9%, trading at $0.00002211.
