Chainlink announced via X on Thursday that Sonieum has chosen Chainlink as its premier launch partner. Sonieum is a public Ethereum layer-2 next-generation blockchain ecosystem developed by Sony. 

Soneium will connect the blockchain technology (Web3) with the everyday internet services (Web2). By integrating the Chainlink platform, Soneium leverages the infrastructure needed to drive adoption as it enters the blockchain industry.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is up 3% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $11.68 at press time.
