SSV Network DAO Introduces Two New Programs to Boost Community Engagement

SSV Network DAO, the organization governing the SSV Network protocol, announced that it has launched two new community initiatives.

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, the team said the SSVDivers Ambassador Program and Community Associates Program will increase engagement and participation from the SSV community while providing participation incentives.

The SSVDivers Program will provide resources, guidelines, and opportunities for community members to showcase their skills. It will achieve this by proposing and managing personal projects aligned with their passions and the SSV Network's mission. The move will enable members to express their diverse talents while leveraging SSV technology to shape the future of decentralized staking.

While commenting on this latest development, LinkoPlus of SSVdivers said,

“It's an honor to represent and help the SSV community. My personal project involves setting up a node operator on my Rock5b (an affordable single-board computer) to run on the Holesky testnet and writing a guide about that to inspire others to join the Ethereum staking journey. Being part of an organization that lives up to the Ethereum ethos is amazing, and it's awesome to see how fast SSV is growing!”

Meanwhile, the Community Associates Program will incentivize community members to participate in marketing efforts, create and localize content, spread the word about SSV, and boost engagement within the SSV ecosystem.

This latest development comes a week after SSV Network announced the launch of the  SSV-powered distributed validators (DVs) in the new Simple DVT Software.

The programs deploy a wide range of incentive mechanisms, including rewards and limited-edition merchandise, as well as receiving recognition within the community. Both programs will run for at least a year and will provide new ways for community members to get involved while raising awareness of SSV technology and how it can be used to strengthen decentralized staking.

SSV Network DAO is celebrating the launch of the two programs alongside the 1M ETH staked milestone during a special community call in the SSV Discord. The team will carry out a 500XP raffle for the community ambassadors during the call.

Elad Gafni, Operations Manager of the SSV Foundation, commented that,

“Driving greater adoption of SSV technology isn’t just a task for developers: it calls for participation of the entire community, whose skills are instrumental in raising awareness of the many ways in which DVT modules can be used to enhance the ETH staking landscape. The SSVDivers Ambassador Program and Community Associates Program provides a practical way for the community to get directly involved and reap the rewards and recognition their hard work warrants. In the process, they’ll help to create the content and other valuable resources that will make it easier for builders to create novel applications based upon SSV’s open source protocol.”

With SSV’s distributed validator technology, developers can easily build DVT-powered staking and restaking applications.SSV is free for third-party developers to use to create applications that strengthen the staking ecosystem centered around Ethereum and its L2 networks.

Currently, SSV Network has more than 720 decentralized node operators securing more than 32,000 ETH validators. Furthermore, 41 SSV-based services and applications are currently being built, ranging from Tooling to Restaking.

SSV.Network creates easy-to-use and scalable infrastructure for developers. SSV is powered by DVT technology, a pioneering architectural framework designed specifically for Ethereum staking. Thanks to its permissionless design, SSV empowers staking operators and validators to join the network and participate in Ethereum staking.
