Telegram launches NFT Sticker Shop for tradable digital decals on TON blockchain.

Tradable NFT Decals powered by TON now Available via Sticker Shop on Telegram

A new NFT sticker marketplace, Sticker Shop, has launched on Telegram, offering users the ability to purchase, trade, and collect limited edition digital stickers. Developed by Open Builders, the team behind the popular Notcoin game, and the DOGS meme coin community, the Sticker Shop integrates with The Open Network (TON) blockchain.

Users can buy the NFT stickers with Stars, Telegram's native in-app currency tied to Toncoin (TON). Each sticker series will be released in limited quantities, creating scarcity and potential value for collectors. Once purchased, these stickers can be shared in chats, bought, and sold on platforms like Getgems as NFTs.

The Sticker Shop will feature collaborations with high-profile projects, including Pudgy Penguins, Flappy Bird, and the Bored Ape Yacht Club, alongside a special King Dogs sticker series celebrating the DOGS meme coin.

Telegram’s co-founder Pavel Durov had previously hinted at plans to tokenize stickers via the TON blockchain at the 2023 Token 2049 conference, and Sticker Shop aligns with this vision, though it is not an official Telegram project. With over 500 billion stickers sent on Telegram each month, the team behind Sticker Shop believes tokenized stickers are the next step in driving mass adoption of NFTs.

Telegram's fortunes has been closely tied to TON’s. The app has launched in-app crypto games, TON payments for ad purchase, and many other cypro-friendly decisions.
