Uniswap Extension is Now Available on Chrome

The Uniswap team announced via a blog post on Tuesday that the Uniswap Extension is now available for everyone to download on Chrome. The extension makes interacting with onchain apps delightful. Never sign blind again, with easy-to-understand signature requests.

With built-in swapping, users have direct access to Uniswap’s trade execution in just a few clicks (with routing across the Uniswap Protocol and UniswapX). Furthermore, with automatic swap protection, user funds are safeguarded against sandwich attacks and front-running.

The the extension supports Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Blast, ZKsync, Zora Network, BNB Chain, Avalanche, and Celo.

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange protocol built on Ethereum. To be more precise, it is an automated liquidity protocol. There is no order book or any centralized party required to make trades. UNI, the native token of Uniswap, is currently trading at $8.299, up by 1% in the last 24 hours.
