On Wednesday, the Uniswap team announced via X that it partnered with Across to develop the ERC-7683 standard. This new standard proposes that all cross-chain intents follow the same order structure.

ERC-7683 allows for the implementation of a standard API for cross-chain trade execution systems. By implementing this standard, cross-chain intents systems can interoperate and share infrastructure such as order dissemination services and filler networks, thereby improving end-user experience by increasing competition for fulfilling user intents.

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange protocol built on Ethereum. To be more precise, it is an automated liquidity protocol. There is no order book or any centralized party required to make trades. UNI, the native token of Uniswap, is currently trading at $5.817, up 2.5% in the last 24 hours.
