Validation Cloud Successfully Completes The System and Organization Controls 2 Audit

Validation Cloud, the leading Web3 infrastructure provider, announced on Tuesday, October 3rd, that it has successfully completed a System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type I audit.

In a press release shared with Cryptowisser, the team said the SOC audit was conducted by Sensiba LLP (Sensiba). This achievement reinforces Validation Cloud's commitment to delivering unparalleled security, availability, and confidentiality for its users and partners; and bringing enterprise-grade infrastructure to the Web3 industry.

Validation Cloud carried out the audit because it recognizes the importance of process controls and compliance among traditional enterprises. While commenting on this latest development, Validation Cloud’s CTO Andrew McFarlane added, said,

“Our primary focus is delivering an exceptional customer experience, and our SOC 2 compliance is a reflection of this focus. We’re proud to be one of the few SOC 2 compliant node API and staking infrastructure providers, delivering Web3 connectivity that is highly performant, reliable, and secure.”

SOC 2 is important to the Web3 ecosystem for the following reasons;

  • It helps attract traditional enterprises to Web3 as the industry must match Web2 in both performance and standards.

  • It is also important because the promise of decentralized ecosystems and applications hinges on data privacy and security.

According to Validation Cloud, its current approach matches Web2 standards, and the company ensures that it delivers the unique components that Web3 has to offer.

The Validation Coud team also believe that security is important in the Web3 ecosystem. Over the past few years, more than $5 billion was lost in DeFi hacks. These types of security risks generate anxiety around Web3 and further hinder the adoption of Web3 technologies. Validation Cloud's dedication to security is reinforced by an expansive suite of controls and protocols, continuously monitored 24/7.

Validation Cloud is a Web3 data streaming and infrastructure company that connects organizations to Web3 through a fast, scalable, and intelligent platform.
