On Tuesday, the LayerZero team announced via X that WBTC (Wrapped BTC) has launched on the Sei Network. Using LayerZero, WBTC has expanded to Sei, making the $13B asset available for any DeFi activity onchain and across chains.

With this integration, users can move WBTC via Stargate Finance to Sei and interact with apps, like LPing, into DragonSwap. Stargate enables simple, reliable transfers of wBTC to Sei through OFT transfers.
