Wormhole Deploys on World Chain

On Tuesday, the Wormhole team announced via X that Wormhole now supports World Chain, the blockchain designed for real humans built on the OP Stack. This integration establishes Wormhole as an interoperability provider for World Chain, with initial support for WLD, USDC.e, and WBTC transfers.

World Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 solution deployed by World (formerly Worldcoin) designed specifically for human-verified transactions. Developers seeking to enable token transfers to and from World Chain can achieve this with three lines of code via Wormhole Connect.

Connect allows developers to integrate wrapped and native token transfers directly into their application UIs, enabling bridging across Wormhole's 30+ connected blockchains, not just World Chain, secured by the Wormhole Guardians.

Wormhole is a decentralized bridge between blockchains that enables the transfer of assets and data across different blockchain networks. It aims to facilitate interoperability and expand the capabilities of blockchain technology. W is trading at $0.3076, down 6% in the last 24 hours.
