Wormhole Introduces its Native USDT Transfers Powered by Pancakeswap and Uniswap

The Wormhole team announced via X on Monday that it has introduced native USDT transfers for Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Avalanche.

The Wormhole team announced via X on Monday that it has introduced native USDT transfers for Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, and Avalanche. The transfers are powered by Wormhole and leverage the battle-tested DEX infrastructure of Pancakeswap and Uniswap.

Transfers are available on Optimism, Polygon, and Avalanche via Uniswap v3 pools, and on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and BNB Chain via PancakeSwap pools.

Wormhole is a decentralized bridge between blockchains that enables the transfer of assets and data across different blockchain networks. It aims to facilitate interoperability and expand the capabilities of blockchain technology. W is trading at $0.2882, up by 4% in the last 24 hours. 

PancakeSwap is a BNB Chain-based decentralized exchange (DEX) with an automated market maker (AMM) model for swapping BEP-20 tokens. CAKE is up by 2% today and is currently trading at $1.809.

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange protocol built on Ethereum. To be more precise, it is an automated liquidity protocol. There is no order book or any centralized party required to make trades. UNI, the native token of Uniswap, is currently trading at $8.155, up by 6% in the last 24 hours.
