ZKsync Era Now Supports Chainlink CCIP for Cross-chain Interoperability

ZKsync announced in a blog post on Monday that Chainlink CCIP is now live on Era Mainnet. CCIP’s programmable token transfers allow apps to securely transfer both tokens and messages across blockchains in a single transaction that includes instructions to swap, stake, deposit, and more after reaching their destination.

The integration provides an additional on-ramp for people to join the Elastic Chain ecosystem. This means that developers can securely build on ZKsync Era and expand the multi-chain ecosystem.

ZKsync is a Layer-2 scaling solution that makes transactions on Ethereum cheaper and faster by utilizing zero-knowledge rollups (zk-rollups) and zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs). ZK is down 2% and is currently trading at $0.1073.

Chainlink Network (LINK) aims to provide tamper-proof inputs and outputs of data for smart contracts on any blockchain. LINK is down 1% over the past 24 hours and is trading at $10.65 at press time.
