Dogizen Takes 1st Place VS Hamster Kombat and Dogs As Best New Altcoin

After seeing tremendous adoption this year, crypto projects built within the TON ecosystem are moving at an unstoppable rate and showing serious promise over altcoins on other chains. As such, investors are hunting for the best new altcoins within this space to ride the trend.

We’ve sorted through the dozens of options and settled on three based on their strong community engagement, forward-thinking approaches, and profit potential. Stay tuned to discover why these three projects could be your next best investment.

The best new altcoins right now:

  1. Dogizen

  2. Hamster Kombat

  3. Dogs

Dogizen’s new T2E game hits 1 million players

As best new altcoins go, it doesn’t get much better than Dogizen. Dogizen is a new tap-to-earn (T2E) game following the success of global hits like Hamster Kombat, Catizen, and Notcoin. Its game has already seen more than 1 million active players in its initial beta phase, and rumors are the new DOGIZ ICO could set new records in the T2E world.

As a Telegram-based game, Dogizen’s premise is simple yet effective—adopt a virtual pup, travel the in-game world, and earn Treatz by completing tasks in iconic destinations like London, Paris, and Tokyo. Treatz can then be used for upgrades and other items designed to boost idle earning power, meaning players can stack up extra Treatz even offline.

Dogizen is also the first-ever Telegram-based ICO. This means the whole investing process can take place within Telegram; no need to download a separate wallet. This gives investors a new level of ease when investing and will likely attract thousands more investors who would otherwise be put off by the complexities that crypto investing can sometimes introduce. Plus, a world-first ICO is always attractive, with the potential for serious returns.

While Dogizen is similar in concept to other T2E games, there’s plenty of reason to suspect it could dominate the space in the coming months. The hype around T2E and the Telegram ecosystem is at an all-time high right now—Binance is constantly listing new T2E titles.

Then there’s the planned Dogizen Universe, engineered to become the next-gen gaming platform on Telegram. This expansion will allow developers to create and host games within a central hub, gaining instant exposure to Dogizen’s prospective international audience of millions and providing hundreds of games to Telegram’s 950 million strong user base.

With a proven MVP (minimum viable product), Dogizen has the potential to onboard hundreds of millions into crypto and the Telegram ecosystem. Roughly 50% of all T2E gamers are new to crypto, and Telegram gaming is only set to boom further over the next few years.

Given Dogizen’s early-stage status, getting in on Dogizen now could be the most lucrative investment of 2024.

Hamster Kombat’s exchange listings drive hype

After launching in March 2024, it’s safe to say Hamster Kombat has become a global sensation. Available in the Telegram app, the Hamster Kombat T2E game has amassed more than 300 million players since launch and even attracted the ire of Iranian authorities for disrupting a presidential election.

Hamster Kombat is centered around a hamster running a crypto exchange, with players participating in battles and completing missions to earn HMSTR coins and buy upgrades. Its engaging gameplay and rewards have helped it build a large community, with 131 million players qualifying for its highly anticipated airdrop on 26th of September. This launch coincides with HMSTR’s listing on several exchanges, including Binance, Bitget, and Bybit.

This airdrop, distributing 60% of the 100 billion total token supply, is set to transition the game into its next phase. While it has faced challenges, including a ban on 2.3 million accounts after implementing anti-cheating measures, developers remain unfazed and focused on expanding the game’s reach. After all, the chairman of Animoca—known for creating The Sandbox—has stated that Hamster Kombat and Telegram games could catalyze a new wave of Web3 adoption.

With momentum behind Hamster Kombat set to continue growing as new features are rolled out in future seasons, HMSTR looks well-positioned as one of the best new altcoins to buy.

Dogs airdrop creates a $500m meme coin

Dogs is a relatively new meme coin that debuted in August 2024 after an airdrop to 43 million Telegram users, riding high on the popularity of Telegram-based crypto projections and The Open Network.

As a community-driven project, 81.5% of its 550 billion token supply was allocated to users via the airdrop, with long-term Telegram users receiving the most DOGS through an in-app mini-game. Impressively, Dogs has risen up the ranks fast, at one point placing in the top 100 cryptos and settling at #158 with a market cap of just under $500 million.

Like many of the best new altcoins, Dogs put its community-based spirit into action. In late September, holders voted on what to do with the 11.7 billion unclaimed DOGS tokens, ultimately settling on burning the tokens to help restrict supply. While DOGS has declined since launch, this burn event could help catalyze a push higher and potentially to new all-time highs.
